Before starting your exam, please review the following information about the exam and Test Center regulations.
If you have any questions, please contact your Test Supervisor (TCA).
Failure to comply with the following provisions may result in Test Result being invalidated, your test fee not being refunded, and your ability to take subsequent tests.

Terms and conditions

Exam content/system confidentiality

  1. Communication, publication, reproduction, or broadcast of any exam content for any purpose, in any form, or by any means (e.g., orally, electronically, written, etc.) is strictly prohibited. Also, talking to other Candidate is prohibited.
  2. Any duplication or disclosure of information will result in immediate civil and criminal charges for both Candidate and their instructors/co-conspirators.

Check-in procedures and break times at Test Center

  1. To take the exam, you must present a valid (unexpired) original Identification Document and Confirmation Letter. Valid Identification Document are determined in advance by Test sponsor.

  2. Photos will be taken for the exam. If you do not consent or do not take a photo, Test Result will not be issued. (This item does not apply when taking the exam in Japan.)

  3. Before entering the exam room, you will be asked to pull your pants up to above your ankles and, if you are wearing long-sleeved clothing, to roll up your sleeves.

  4. Before entering the exam room, empty your pockets and turn them inside out to ensure you are not carrying any prohibited items. No personal or unauthorized items may be brought into the exam room.

  5. If you wear glasses, you will be asked to remove them during the visual inspection to ensure that no recording device is attached. Be sure to store large jewelry in a locker as recording equipment may be hidden.

  6. Do not bring unauthorized personal items into the exam room, including jackets, hats, food, drinks, wallets, briefcases, notebooks, watches, cell phones, electronic devices, or wearable devices, or any other items. Strictly prohibited.

  7. If you need to leave the exam room for any reason, please contact the Test Proctor (TCA) and bring Identification Document with you. Please note that the exam time cannot be stopped even while you are leaving the exam room. To re-enter the exam room, please present Identification Document to the TCA.

  8. If you need to retrieve food, medicine, etc. stored in Test Center during your break, please contact TCA before you go to retrieve it.

  9. Upon returning from your break, you must go through all security checks, without exception, before presenting a valid Identification Document and returning to your original seat.

  10. Repeated or prolonged absence from the exam room outside of scheduled break times will be reported to Test sponsor.

  11. All materials distributed by TCA must be returned at the end of the exam. Used scratch paper or memo boards must be returned when TCA will give you a new scratch paper or memo board during the exam.

  12. During the exam, you will be continuously monitored by video monitoring, proctor patrols, or observation windows.

Prohibited matter

  1. Weapons are not allowed inside Test Center.
  2. It is strictly prohibited for any other person to take the exam on behalf of the prospective examinee.
  3. Talking to other Candidate or looking at other Candidate' screens in Test Center is strictly prohibited.
  4. The use of any testing aids (e.g. handwritten notes or electronic devices) other than those approved by Test sponsor is not permitted.

Candidate behavior at Test Center

  1. Candidate are required to maintain good manners and civil behavior at all times within Test Center premises and to follow the instructions of the test proctor (TCA). Any perceived disturbance of the TCA, other Test Center staff, or other Candidate may result in criminal prosecution.
  2. To protect the privacy of all Candidate, TCA does not confirm to any outside parties whether a particular individual will be present at Test Center or at which Test Center the test is scheduled. You can't do that either.
  3. Those who do not plan to take the test are not allowed to wait at Test Center.

Notification matters

  1. The test proctor cannot answer any questions regarding the content of the test, but if you have any questions or problems such as computer failure, please call the test proctor immediately and confirm the situation. please. Please note that we will not be able to respond to requests after the exam has ended.
  2. Test proctors cannot answer any questions regarding Test Result or scores. For inquiries regarding the exam, please contact Test sponsor.
  3. Candidate who engage in cheating will not be allowed to continue on the exam and any evidence of cheating, including photography, will be collected or recorded.
