Examination regulations
Basic Policy
- The contents of this section apply to taking the exam via CBT (taking the exam at Test Center) or ProProctor (online testing with remote proctoring at home, office, etc.).
- All requirements must be adhered to unless otherwise permitted by Test sponsor or specified on the exam website.
- If any misconduct or violation of the rules is found during the exam, your eligibility to take the exam and Test Result may be invalidated.
1. CBT Examination Regulations
The contents of this section apply to CBT (taking the exam at Test Center).
1-1. Prohibited matters
If any of the following behaviors are observed, you may be warned or denied entry to the exam.
- Eating, drinking and smoking in the Test room
- Accompanying person entry
- Interfering with or attempting to cause harm to other Candidate or test supervisors
- Failure to follow the instructions of the exam supervisor
1-2. Cheating
If any of the following actions are observed, the exam will be immediately suspended and reported to Test sponsor:
- Taking the exam by someone else (impersonation)
- Writing on the body or objects
- Talking privately in the examination room, looking at other Candidate' screens, or sharing information
- Recording, taking out, and photographing test questions and answers
- Bringing in or using unauthorized items (cell phones, watches, smart glasses, earphones, notebooks, etc.)
*Any suspicious recording, bringing in or taking out of items will be considered as fraud, regardless of whether it is related to the exam or not.
*If there is writing on your body or belongings, we will record the relevant items (including taking photographs).
*Some exams may allow you to bring certain personal items into the exam. Please check the dedicated page for each exam for details.
1-3. Other notes
- The exam format, number of questions, exam time, etc. may change without notice. Please check the screen.
- The proctor cannot answer questions about the exam content or scores.
- If you have any questions or problems, please call the proctor immediately. Requests for assistance after the exam will not be accepted.
- If you must leave your seat, please bring Identification Document and inform the proctor. The exam will continue even if you are away from your seat (except for exams with designated breaks).
- Some exams may allow you to voluntarily exit the exam.
- Items that can be brought into the exam and prohibited acts may vary depending on the exam. Please check the dedicated page for each exam for details.
2. ProProctor Examination Regulations
The contents of this section apply to taking the exam via ProProctor (online testing with remote proctoring at home, office, etc.).
2-1. Test environment requirements
- Multiple monitors cannot be used.
- Please prepare a quiet, well-lit place (your home or a conference room) where no Candidate other than you can enter.
- You will need a computer that meets the system requirements, a camera, a microphone, and a stable internet connection. Please check the system requirements on the "Candidate Portal."
- Do not place any of the following items on or around your desk:
- Pen, paper, notebook, bag
- Mobile phones, earphones, watches (table clocks, wristwatches, smartwatches)
- Electronic devices other than the test computer
- Books, posters, and other items that may affect the exam
2-2. Prohibited matters
If any of the following actions are confirmed, you may be warned or refused entry to the exam.
- Eating, drinking, smoking, and chewing gum
- Hiding your face (masks, sunglasses, etc.)
- Putting on and taking off clothing during the exam (please adjust your temperature beforehand)
- Leaving your seat during the exam (You must keep your face visible on camera at all times)
- Changing or turning off lighting or sound settings
2-3. Cheating
If any of the following actions are observed, the exam will be immediately suspended and reported to Test sponsor:
- Taking the exam by someone else (impersonation)
- Writing on the body or objects
- Recording, taking out, and photographing test questions and answers
- Bringing in or using unauthorized items (cell phones, watches, smart glasses, earphones, notebooks, etc.)
- Using external materials, apps, chat tools, etc.
- Talking to others and receiving help
- Opening or viewing any screen other than the exam screen during the exam
*Any suspicious recording, bringing in or taking out of items will be considered as fraud, regardless of whether it is related to the exam or not.

2-4. What to do if you encounter problems during the exam
- We have posted [Frequently Asked Questions about ProProctor]. Please check before contacting us if you are having trouble. If the problem persists, please contact us from "If the answers to the FAQs don't solve your problem" on the same page.
- If the computer or network used to take the exam does not meet the specified operating environment, we will not be able to provide support for any system problems or errors that occur.
- If you are unable to start or complete the exam due to a problem with the computer used to take the Candidate or your network environment, the exam fee will not be refunded.
- We cannot handle any issues with your computer or equipment, or internet problems.
2-5. Other notes
- Please log in to ProProctor 15 minutes before the start of the exam (the deadline for registration). If you log in late for the exam start time, you will not be able to take the exam. In this case, the exam fee will not be refunded.
- If you leave your seat during the exam, you must end the exam and will not be able to resume it.
- If you stop the exam midway, only your answers up to that point will be graded.
- Items that can be brought into the exam and prohibited acts may vary depending on the exam. Please check the dedicated page for each exam for details.
- For the purpose of exam monitoring, the exam will be recorded or monitored in real time.
- Regarding the handling of personal information, we comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Personal Information Protection Act) and other related laws, regulations, and guidelines, and strive to properly manage and protect such information.
