This Test is a written Test related to the airman skill certification and the flight operations manager skill certification stipulated in Article 22 of the Civil Aviation Act and Articles 77 and 78 of the Civil Aviation Act. The purpose is to determine whether you have the necessary knowledge and abilities.

Scheduling
- Those taking the written exam for the first time, those who have not passed a valid subject or have not been exempted from a subject due to a previous qualification, etc., must make a "reservation for CBT exam subjects" for all subjects corresponding to the skill certification for which they are applying. Others should make a "reservation for CBT exam" only for the subjects they need.
- All Candidate must "apply for eligibility to take the exam (Form No. 19)" (hereinafter referred to as "application") to the organizing organization within the period after "reserving for the CBT exam". If you do not submit the application, your application will not be accepted as an academic exam for aviation personnel certification, so please cancel it yourself.
- If there are insufficient "CBT exam subject reservations" for your application, your application will not be accepted for the written exam for the Aviation Personnel Skill Certification, etc., so please cancel it yourself.
- If there are excess "CBT exam subject reservations" for your application, please cancel them yourself. If you do not cancel, fairness with other Candidate will not be guaranteed, and you will be failed in that subject or all subjects.
- Those taking the written exam for the first time, those taking the second or subsequent exams without valid subject passes or exemptions due to previous qualifications, etc., are required to take the exam at Test Center for all subjects corresponding to the skill certification for which they are applying. If you do not take the exam for all subjects, you will not be considered to have passed the subjects and will fail the exam.
- You cannot apply to take the exam for the same qualification (including type and grade) multiple times during the same exam period.
- Test Scheduling can be made during Scheduling period. Even after Scheduling period has passed, changes and cancellations can be made up to three business days before exam date. If exam date is a Saturday or Sunday, you can apply up to 4 business days before the test date.
- Business days are days excluding Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays.
- Scheduling and payment deadlines and fees vary depending on the payment method, so please check "Deadlines and Fees by Payment Method".
- You will not be able to make changes to Scheduling unless Test Fee has been paid.
- The test date differs depending on Test Center. Please note that Test Center may not hold exams depending on the date and time.
- Seating is limited. Please complete Scheduling as soon as possible.
- We recommend that you use a computer to schedule your test. The site may not function properly on smartphones or tablets. For details, please see "How to use the site."
On the day of exam date
- Reception is open from 30 minutes to 15 minutes before the start time of Test. If you are late for the reception, you will not be able to take the test, so please be sure to arrive during Reception Hours.
- You will be required to present the designated Identification Document on the exam date. If you cannot present it, you will not be able to take the test. In this case, Test Fee will not be refunded.
- You do not need to bring the application acceptance notice sent by the organizing body (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Aviation Bureau) to Test Center.

If you have Prometric ID that starts with JP, you can use it for all exams, so please log in and proceed with your reservation.

Test Scheduling can be made during Scheduling period. Even after Scheduling period has passed, changes and cancellations can be made up to three business days before exam date. If exam date is a Saturday or Sunday, you can apply up to 4 business days before the test date.

Retake Policy
- Multiple applications for the same qualification (including type and grade) are not allowed in one Test period.
- Those taking the written exam for the first time, those who have not passed a valid subject or have not been exempted from a subject due to a previous qualification, etc., must make a "CBT Exam Subject Reservation" for all subjects corresponding to the skill certification for which they are applying. Others should make a "CBT Exam Subject Reservation" only for the subjects they need.
- If a person who has taken all the subjects of the academic Test and obtained a passing score (subject pass) for some of the subjects applies for a skill certificate for the same qualification as the qualification related to the academic Test, the applicant must apply for it himself Test You will be exempted from taking the written Test for the subject in which you obtained a passing score, as long as the written Test is held within one year from the date of notification of passing.
