Prometric begins distributing Specified Skilled Worker exams in Vietnam
Prometric Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: James Hagenbucher), the largest provider of computer-based testing (CBT) and assessment solutions in Japan, began delivering Specified Skilled Worker Test in Hanoi, Vietnam on March 1, 2024. This will be the 12th country outside of Japan where Prometric Japan Co., Ltd. will administer the test.
In March 2024, we held Nursing care skills evaluation test and Agriculture Skill Assessment Test, which measure the skills required for the Specified Skilled Worker System No. 1, over three days on the 1st, 4th, and 5th. On the first day of the test, Japanese and Vietnamese government officials visited Test Center to tour Test Center and exchange opinions. As Specified Skilled Worker System is an important test promoted by the country, visitors asked questions about details regarding the test operation and future prospects. In addition, the three days were fully booked on the first day of reservations, and many Candidate took the test.
From April 2024, we plan to gradually start offering other skill tests. We also plan to open Test Center not only in Hanoi, but also in Ho Chi Minh City and other areas, and will strive to improve convenience for Candidate in Vietnam.
