In February 2026, pre-tests for the introduction of computer-based testing for the bar exam and other exams will be conducted at Prometric test centers.
Prometric Japan Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: James Hagenbuscher, hereinafter referred to as "Prometric") has been commissioned by the Ministry of Justice to carry out the "Verification work related to the implementation of examinations using the Bar Examination, etc. CBT System (tentative name)."
Pre-tests in preparation for the introduction of CBT for the bar exam and bar exam preliminary examination will be held at Prometric CBT test centers nationwide on Tuesday, February 10th and Wednesday, February 11th, 2026 (national holiday).
Reservations for the pre-test will be accepted on our website. Details will be released on Friday, December 5, 2025.
We will do our utmost to ensure that the exam environment is well-maintained and runs smoothly so that all Candidate can take the exam with peace of mind.
