[Media Coverage] Our CBT initiatives were featured in the special issue of Weekly Toyo Keizai, "Truly Strong Universities 2026".
Prometric Japan Co., Ltd., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, hereinafter referred to Prometric) is pleased to announce that its efforts in Computer Based CBT(Computer Based Testing)in the field of university entrance examinations have been featured in an article titled "Front Lines of University Entrance Examinations - CBT is Changing University Entrance Examinations" in the special issue of the weekly magazine Toyo Keizai, "Truly Strong Universities 2026," published by Toyo Keizai Inc.
This article discusses a new approach to university entrance examinations, which involves a shift from traditional paper-based tests to computer-based testing (CBT), enabling expanded testing opportunities and reduced restrictions on test locations. In particular, it highlights how utilizing a nationwide network Test Center can create an environment where Candidate can take the exam more flexibly.
Prometric is promoting the expansion of CBT use in university entrance examinations, leveraging its operational track record cultivated through CBT delivery for national and public examinations, and its nationwide test center network. Moving forward, we will continue to contribute to creating a convenient and fair examination environment for both Candidate and educational institutions.
